COMNEN’s Cat6 FTP network patch cable is constructed with four pairs of twisted copper wires, conforming to Cat6 standards. This ensures excellent data transmission capabilities, supporting Gigabit Ethernet and data transfer rates of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) over short distances.
Unlike unshielded cables, FTP cables have an additional layer of foil shielding around the twisted pairs. This shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and external noise, making it a suitable choice for installations in areas with potential sources of interference. The booted design of the cable includes a protective boot or connector cover at each end.
